THE ARTIST

Njeri Akosua is an Oakland-based artist who has spent nearly ten years working in fabric dyeing, crystal jewelry, and wearable art. She describes her style as free-flowing, experimental, and nature-inspired pulling from the past and the future at once.

Raised in Ifá by her mother, an initiated Oshun priestess, Njeri approached this collection as devotional art. Rather than replicating sacred symbols, she infused each piece with color, materials, and charms that quietly reference its Orisha: spiritually resonant, but open enough for you to bring your own meaning.

She works in resin because it lets her pieces feel organic and otherworldly at the same time. Every one is made to be held a daily ritual object, a piece of home, a talisman to carry with you.
