ALTAR LIGHTER FOR OGUN AND YEMAYÁ
UNTITLED (IRON)
Iron honors the eternal bond between Ogun, lord of iron, and Yemayá, mother of the sea. In the pataki where Yemayá cools Ogun’s raging fire with her waters, we see that even the hardest metal is tempered by the ocean’s embrace.
This altar lighter carries that dual force, sculpted in resin clay and crowned with green sea glass for the tides, pearls for Yemayá’s wisdom, a clear quartz point for clarity, rose quartz for tenderness, and a cowrie shell for protection and wealth.
Together, they merge Ogun’s unbreakable strength with Yemayá’s nurturing depth — a flame that is both warrior and mother, forge and tide.
Each piece rests in a white leather pouch with Njeri’s hand-dyed fabric, accompanied by a San Maris MADRE DE AGUAS candle, a sacred egg card for affirmations, and a bundle of ethically sourced vetiver hand-prepared by Alicia.
