ALTAR LIGHTER FOR OSHÚN AND SHANGO
UNTITLED (OÑI)
OÑI is a union of Shango and Oshún, the Orishas of fire and river, thunder and sweetness, passion and love. Their divine romance is legendary — the warrior king and the radiant goddess, bound together by desire, beauty, and power.
This altar lighter celebrates their union through carnelian for Shango’s fire and vitality, citrine for Oshún’s golden joy, pearl for purity and wisdom, spiral seashells for the eternal flow of water, and cowrie shells for prosperity and protection.
Each element honors the balance of flame and river, masculine and feminine, justice and tenderness. Oñi is a vessel of devotion to the sacred dance between these two forces, reminding us that passion and sweetness are inseparable.
Protected in a white leather pouch with Njeri’s hand dyed fabric, Oñi is offered with a San Maris AMO candle, a sacred egg-shaped affirmation card, and a bundle of ethically sourced vetiver, hand-prepared by Alicia.
