UNTITLED (YANSÁ)

Yansá is created in honor of Oyá, fierce Orisha of winds, storms, and the cemetery gates. She is the force of sudden change — whirlwind and fire, transformation and rebirth. Guardian of the ancestors, she clears the way for new life to emerge from endings.

This altar lighter carries her tempestuous power through amethyst for spiritual sight, an amethyst point for focus and higher wisdom, garnet for passion and courage, a cowrie shell for protection and wealth, and a silver folk face symbolizing Oyá’s presence as both storm and guide.

Each element embodies her role as warrior and mother of nine, uniting the mysteries of death and the spark of renewal.

Protected in a white leather pouch with Njeri’s hand-dyed fabric, Yansá is offered with a San Maris XXX candle, a sacred egg-shaped affirmation card, and a bundle of ethically sourced vetiver, hand-prepared by Alicia.
