Altar Lighter

Osú Mare · Altar Lighter

"Devotion to Yemayá and the moon · the eternal dialogue between ocean and sky"

THE INSPIRATION

Osú Mare honors Yemayá, mother of the ocean, in her luminous dance with the moon. The tides rise and fall to her rhythm. The moon above mirrors her cycles both fierce and nurturing, radiant and infinite.

This piece holds that dialogue. The shimmer of moonlight across moving water. The pull that governs everything that flows.

THE MATERIALS

Green sea glass · for the shifting tides
Cowrie shell · for abundance and protection
Clear quartz and quartz point · for clarity and amplified intention
Mother of pearl · for purity and radiance
Mini pearl · for Yemayá's hidden treasures

Each element reflects the shimmering path of moonlight across the sea.

THE DETAILS

Handcrafted by artist Njeri Akosua. Encased in a white leather pouch with Njeri's hand-dyed fabric. Fits a standard Bic lighter.

*Lighter not included.*

A vessel of tides and light · where ocean meets moon, and devotion glows silver.

Burn Care

Never leave a candle unattended, near drafts, or move a candle while burning.
