Exu is dedicated to Eleggua (Exu), the fiery messenger, trickster, and divine translator between the Orishas and humanity. He is the spark at the crossroads, the guardian of communication, and the force that ensures every offering reaches its destination.

This altar lighter channels his vibrant power with garnet for vitality and passion, vintage silver African beads for ancestral strength and continuity, a cowrie shell for wealth and protection, and a silver base encased in resin clay to anchor the piece in both earth and fire.

Each element reflects Exu’s dual nature — playful and dangerous, opening paths while demanding respect. He is the first to be called, the one who makes all rituals possible, and the flame that ignites beginnings.

Protected in a white leather pouch with Njeri’s hand-dyed fabric, Exu comes as part of the ritual set with a San Maris CAMINOS candle, a sacred egg-shaped affirmation card, and a bundle of ethically sourced vetiver, hand-prepared by Alicia.
